Followers disappearing?

Sometime this week, couples of my followers from another blog simply disappeared. It was not something that I do, neither did they deliberately did that.

Apparently Blogger ran into some bugs when implementing their new "Google Friend Connect" and some of the followers lost their list of blog they are following in Blogger. Well not actually lost but set to anonymous.

Whenever I hear about followers, this picture came to my mind. LOL

Backup your Blog on Blogger / Blogspot

It is always a good practice to back up your entries especially if your entries are original.

Since I am using Blogger, it would be great to have a local copies of what I posted online. I need to backup my blog entries but how do I do that?

Thanks to Greg on that. I can backup using this Free software.

It actually saved your entries to your local drive in XML format. I do not think they will backup the comments related to the entries tho. Try it if you are using Blogger.

Tag Cloud

Tired of seeing long label or topic in your blog? Why not try Tag cloud?

A tag cloud uses weighted list in visual presentation or design. It is a visual depiction of user-generated tags and if you are using it to replace general listing Tags, you will get something like the picture above.

The frequent the topic or tag appears, the bigger is the tag. I personally find it useful as it visually attract readers but most of all, it save quite a lot of white space.

You can head down to Here for a simple steps to setup in your blog. Some customization can be done if you are familiar with CSS. If you are not, the basic already look good enough.

I however did not use this however due to the incompatibility of my current blog template to the tag cloud widget.

If you use it, let me know if it is useful to you.
